The Seattle Sounders are climbing in the latest media installments of MLS Power Rankings.
The Sounders are No. 7 on SI.com (No. 12 last week), No. 8 on ESPNFC.com (No. 11) and No. 10 on MLSSoccer.com (No. 13).
The Sounders are currently on a four-game unbeaten streak, including three straight wins. After being all but out of the playoff race a few weeks ago, they defeated Portland 3-1 on Sunday to pull within just two points of the sixth and final spot in the Western Conference.
The Sounders take on the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday night at BBVA Compass Stadium at 6 p.m. PT (JOEtv, ROOT Sports, El Rey 1360AM, 770 KTTH).
