Late last week, the Panamanian national team announced that injured defender Román Torres would join his teammates for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
This move left many scratching their heads as Torres continues to rehab from an ACL injury, but it was immediately clear why Torres was called in: He's the heart of the club. Torres is set to serve as captain in the team's two matches versus Haiti.
FEPAFUT posted several photos on Twitter, showing Torres' arrival and video of him continuing to work to get ready for his return, which is set to occur later this season.
