Seattle Sounders stars Jordan Morris, Cristian Roldan called into USMNT January Camp

Morris Roldan walkout USA

U.S. Soccer announced on Monday morning that forward Jordan Morris and midfielder Cristian Roldan have been selected to participate in the annual 30-man January Camp. Players are set to report to the National Training Center in Carson, California on Wednesday ahead of the country's friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 28 at the StubHub Center (6:30 p.m. PT; FS1 and UniMas).

"We're excited about our 2018 January Camp roster. It's all about the future and opportunity," said acting head coach Dave Sarachan in a press release. "We clearly feel that we want to have a look at these players that have the chance to be a part of the National Team for a number of years to come. It's a long journey forward, but this is the first step starting in 2018 for the program and for these players to now get experience at this level."

Morris, 23, enters the camp with the third-most caps among the group, with his 24 international appearances trailing just midfielder Gyasi Zardes (37) and Juan Agudelo (27). He scored three of his five career international goals in 2017, including the game-winner against Jamaica in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final in late July. Roldan, 22, earned his first international cap during the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, as he played alongside Morris in a 3-2 victory over Martinique.
