LINEUP NOTES:

  • Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes several changes to the back line, with Reed Baker-Whiting and Kalani Kossa-Rienzi getting the start at outside back and Alex Roldan sliding into center back.
  • Defenders Nouhou and Jon Bell are unavailable due to a one-game red card suspensions from Sounders FC's last MLS regular season outing against Vancouver Whitecaps on June 8.
  • Sounders FC and Austin have met eight times since the Texas side joined MLS in 2021, with Seattle playing to a 4-1-3 record, giving up multiple goals on only one occasion. Seattle won the regular-season series last year, 1-0-1.
