PREVIOUS MEETING: The Sounders defeated FC Dallas 1-0 at Toyota Stadium on April 12 with a first half-goal from Danny Musovski. In the 17th minute, Pedro de la Vega’s rocket from distance hit the woodwork and rebounded into the feet of Musovski, who provided the game-winner for the Rave Green.
BACK AT HOME: Following a three-match week on the road, the Sounders return to Lumen field on Saturday in what will be their first of three home matches before heading to BC Place on June 8. The Sounders defeated the Houston Dynamo 3-1 on May 10, fell to LAFC 4-0 on May 14, and finished the road stretch with a 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers last Saturday.
UNDEFEATED IN SEATTLE: The Sounders currently hold a 5-match unbeaten streak at home this season with three wins and two ties, totaling 11 points at Lumen Field. The last time the team lost at home was on Aug. 17, 2024 in a Leagues Cup match against LAFC.

THREE-MATCH WEEK: Saturday’s match will be FC Dallas’ third and final match of the week due to their participation in the U.S. Open Cup. Following their loss against the Houston Dynamo on May 17, the team is quickly transitioning to Open Cup play as they gear up to face the New York Red Bulls in the Open Cup Round of 16 on May 21 at Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Considered one of the biggest signings in FC Dallas’ 30-year history, Acosta is lethal when it comes to his contributions in the attack. In his nine years of competing in MLS, the 2023 league MVP has collected 75 goals and 19 assists in regular season competition. He currently leads Dallas in goals (3) this season after 13 appearances.
