LINEUP NOTES:
- Sounders FC has won the U.S. Open Cup four times (2009-2011, 2014) in franchise history, tied for the most among MLS clubs (Sporting Kansas City, Chicago Fire)
- This is the first time the two sides have met up in a competitive match. Seattle has previously hosted Louisville City FC in a preseason friendly prior to the 2023 season.
- Seattle made it to the Round of 32 in last year's Open Cup, falling to the LA Galaxy 3-1 at Dignity Health Sports Park. The Rave Green advanced past San Diego Loyal SC 5-4 in extra time in the previous round.
