- Coach Schmetzer is deploying a 4-2-3-1 formation with five changes from the May 29 match vs. Charlotte: Jackson Ragen, Kelyn Rowe, Jimmy Medranda, Léo Chú and Fredy Montero are replacing Yeimar, Nouhou, Albert Rusnák, Cristian Roldan and Jordan Morris.
- Defenders Xavier Arreaga and Nouhou have returned from international duty and are on the matchday roster this evening, while Albert Rusnák, Cristian Roldan and Jordan Morris are re-joining the club later this week.
- Tonight marks the 147th meeting between the two clubs across all competitions dating back to 1974, with Seattle leading the all-time series 71-50-25. The Rave Green also have a 14-match unbeaten streak (9-0-5) against Whitecaps FC (including postseason), dating back to April of 2017.
