Seattle Sounders FC is hosting a viewing party Sunday, December 18 at 7:00 a.m. PT at The Armory at Seattle Center as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ closes out and crowns a new champion.
As with previous viewing parties hosted by Sounders FC during the tournament, this Sunday’s free event gives fans of all ages the opportunity to join Sounders FC and gather together for the love of soccer and the excitement of the World Cup.
The U.S. Men’s National Team advanced from the World Cup’s Group Stage with some exciting play, but fell 3-1 to Netherlands in the Round of 16. The tournament’s Semifinals – featuring Argentina vs. Croatia and France vs. Morocco – are being played on Tuesday and Wednesday to determine the matchup for Sunday’s Final.
Admission for the Final viewing party is free and provided on a first-come, first-served basis with entry beginning at 6:30 a.m. PT and continuing until The Armory reaches capacity. Fans and Sounders FC Season Ticket Members are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of special giveaways.
Those attending the event can look forward to watching the games on a giant screen in an electric group atmosphere, with special games and activations and several Armory food and drink locations open early for refreshments, as well as a beer garden for fans over the age of 21.
Additional giveaways and prizes include:
