The Seattle Sounders are visiting Liga MX’s Tigres UANL on Wednesday in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal tie. Here is everything you need to know:

WHEN AND WHERE: Kickoff is at 6 p.m. PT (7 p.m. local time) at Estadio Universitario in Monterrey, Mexico.

WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be available to watch on FS2 and TUDN.

LEG 2 SCHEDULE: The Sounders will host Tigres in the return leg at Lumen Field on Wednesday, April 15 (8:30 p.m. PT; FS2, TUDN | TICKETS).

2026 CCC FORMAT: Twenty-seven clubs from North America, Central America and the Caribbean will play in a tournament consisting of five rounds: Round One, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final. Each round up until the final consists of a two-leg series using aggregate scoring to determine a winner. The final will be a single match on May 30.

TIEBREAKERS: If the two teams’ aggregate score is tied after two legs, whichever team scored more away goals will advance. If still tied, two 15-minute extra time periods will be played with the away goals rule no longer in effect. If still tied, a penalty shootout will determine a winner.

PATHWAY TO GLOBAL COMPETITION: The winner of the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup will take place in the 2026 FIFA Intercontinental Cup as well as earn a berth into the next edition of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2029.
