In the 62nd minute, Cristian Roldan played a ball into Ruidíaz that he controlled with his chest before turning and firing a half-volley into the corner of the net. Ruidíaz’s goal gave the Sounders a 1-0 win, the second of what would be an MLS-record nine in a row.
