United States national team Head Coach Gregg Berhalter on Tuesday called in Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris and midfielder Cristian Roldan for two March friendlies against Ecuador and Chile.

Morris and Roldan are part of a 24-man roster that will convene on march 17 in Orlando, Fla. The U.S. takes on Ecuador first on March 21 at Orlando City Stadium before hosting Chile on March 26 at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas. Each match kicks off at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN2, UniMás and Univision Deportes.

“Our goal is to keep making progress. Building on the themes of last camp, building on the style of play of last camp, but also now evaluating a new group of players,” Berhalter said in a U.S. Soccer release. “We made progress in the first camp and it’s now asking if we can take it to another level. When we are done with this camp, it’s important that we have a good idea of our strongest group of players heading into the Gold Cup.”

Morris has five goals in 25 caps for the U.S. and receives his first call-up since recovering from a torn ACL that cost him all of 2018. He scored the match-winner in 88th minute against Jamaica in the 2017 Gold Cup Final and was voted Week 1 MLS Player of the Week in his return to competitive action for his brace against FC Cincinnati to open the 2019 season.

Roldan has seven caps, including two against Panama and Costa Rica a couple months ago after being invited to January Camp. Roldan made his U.S. debut at the 2017 Gold Cup with a start against Martinique in the group stage.
