2018 (S2): Serrano made his first appearance in the S2 season opener, a 2-1 home win over Timbers 2 on March 16. He finished the campaign with three total appearances, including one start, for the USL outfit.

In May of 2017, Serrano received an invitation to the U.S. Soccer Boys National Team Futures Camp. Serrano received his first of two call-ups to the U.S. U-17 Youth National Team for the Nike Friendlies, appearing in all three matches against Holland, Brazil and England. After impressing the coaching staff with his creativity and direct attacking style, Serrano was invited to the inaugural U.S. Soccer Youth National Team Summit Camp in January. Serrano has been called up for every camp but one for the U-17s since the start of the 2017 cycle.

In the summer of 2016, Serrano joined the Seattle Sounders FC Academy from the club’s Eastern Washington official partner, the Spokane Sounders. He initially signed with the U-15s, but after impressing with the U-17s at the Generation Adidas Cup in October of 2016, he was moved up to the older squad for the remainder of the 2016-2017 season. In the 2017-2018 USSDA season, Serrano tallied 33 goals and eight assists in 42 appearances across all competitions for the U-17 squad. He helped the U-17s win the club’s first ever Generation Adidas Cup and USSDA national championship.

Signed to S2’s roster on February 13, 2018.
