David Olsen

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Olsen made his professional debut in a season-opening loss to Sacramento Republic FC (March 26). He scored his first career goal in a 3-1 loss to Real Monarchs SLC (April 22).

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

The forward spent two seasons at Seattle University after scoring seven goals as a freshman at San Diego State. In 2015, the Seattle native led Division I with 16 goals for his hometown Redhawks, then added four more scoring tallies in 2016.

PERSONAL

The Sounders FC Academy product attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Auburn. His favorite soccer player is Ronaldinho and he enjoys playing basketball. Olsen’s favorite part of Seattle is the big-city atmosphere.
