PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2020 (Defiance): In his most productive season, Serrano scored three goals during the 2020 season. Two came against Sacramento on July 14 and September 21. The final goal came against Reno 1868 on September 18. He finished the season with six starts and 13 appearances. 

2019 (Defiance): Serrano made two starts and eight appearances during the 2019 campaign, totaling 202 minutes.

2018 (S2): Serrano made his first appearance in the S2 season opener, a 2-1 home win over Timbers 2 on March 16. He finished the campaign with three total appearances, including one start, for the USL outfit.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

In May of 2017, Serrano received an invitation to the U.S. Soccer Boys National Team Futures Camp. Serrano received his first of two call-ups to the U.S. U-17 Youth National Team for the Nike Friendlies, appearing in all three matches against Holland, Brazil and England. After impressing the coaching staff with his creativity and direct attacking style, Serrano was invited to the inaugural U.S. Soccer Youth National Team Summit Camp in January. Serrano has been called up for every camp but one for the U-17s since the start of the 2017 cycle.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2016, Serrano joined the Seattle Sounders FC Academy from the club’s Eastern Washington official partner, the Spokane Sounders. He initially signed with the U-15s, but after impressing with the U-17s at the Generation Adidas Cup in October of 2016, he was moved up to the older squad for the remainder of the 2016-2017 season. In the 2017-2018 USSDA season, Serrano tallied 33 goals and eight assists in 42 appearances across all competitions for the U-17 squad. He helped the U-17s win the club’s first ever Generation Adidas Cup and USSDA national championship.
