It should come as no surprise to you that Clint Dempsey is a superhero. More specifically, he's one of the #MLSSuperHeroes who are in Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and he'll be putting his powers to good use as the USMNT looks to escape from Group G - The Group of Death.
No easy task, obviously, but that's the kind of thing superheroes are faced with on a consistent basis - adversity. We know that Clint will do the USA and Major League Soccer proud in leading our nation into battle against Ghana, Germany and Portugal. He is the captain after all.
