If you follow Gonzalo Pineda on Instagram, its no secret that the Sounders midfielder is not only a big music fan, but also a talented musician himself. A few weeks ago, Pineda posted a short clip of him strumming an acoustic version of The Beatles classic ‘Blackbird.’
On Monday evening, he took to Seattle’s airwaves as he stopped by the KEXP studios and appeared on El Sonido, the station’s Latin-themed show hosted by DJ Chilly. Pineda not only talked about his time on the pitch, but also about moving from Mexico City to Seattle and he spun three of his favorite alternative Latin rock tracks.
