Let us all celebrate - the bye week is behind us!


While the weekend away came at the perfect time for Sounders FC with several players on the mend from injuries, the club is ready to get back to work as the regular season winds to an close. Just three points stand between the Rave Green and the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs. The team will play on the road at the Houston Dynamo on Sunday (2 pm PT; ESPN) and with a win, Seattle would hit a solid 50 points and 15 wins for the year, securing a seventh-straight spot in the postseason.


Earlier this season, the team defeated the Dynamo 1-0 at CenturyLink Field thanks to an amazing Obafemi Martins goal. The Dynamo currently sit on 41 points, three points behind the postseason pack.


The LA Galaxy, FC Dallas and Vancouver Whitecaps FC who have all secured a spot in the playoffs.


The Eastern Conference also continues to heat up, with four postseason spots still available. The New York Red Bulls sit atop the Supporters' Shield standings with 54 points, with D.C. United also through to playoffs. The Montreal Impact are slowly climbing the table and now sit above the red line after a big win over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday.
