Seattle Sounders midfielder Andreas Ivanschitz has been named to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week for Week 19 after scoring a goal and adding two assists during a busy week for the Sounders.
Ivanschitz scored his second goal of the season and added an assist to midfielder Cristian Roldan in the team’s 5-0 win over FC Dallas on July 13, and then added an assist to center back Chad Marshall in a 3-1 loss to the Portland Timbers on Sunday.
Ivanschitz is the first Sounders player to be named to the Team of the Week starting lineup since Roldan was selected in Week 14.
