Jordan Morris and Cristian Roldan to appear at WE Day

Roldan Morris WE Day

SEATTLE, WASH. - As WE Day Seattle takes over KeyArena on Friday, April 21, Seattle Sounders FC forward Jordan Morris and midfielder Cristian Roldan are set to appear as part of the event's lineup of celebrities and influencers.

Morris, who appeared as a special guest at WE Day Seattle 2016, is joined this year by his teammate Roldan, with the pair addressing the crowd of over 15,000 students and teachers about their college rivalry on the field, friendship and the importance of accepting others. Morris and Roldan are scheduled to take the stage at approximately 1:50 p.m. PT as part of WE Day Seattle's mission to inspire and celebrate the commitment to take action locally and globally.

WE Day is a celebration of youth who are making a difference in their local communities, bringing together world-renowned speakers and award-winning performers with tens of thousands of young people to celebrate their contributions and kick-start another year of change. WE Day has evolved from a single event nearly eight years ago into a series of 14 stadium-sized events held across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Over the past year, 200,000 students attended WE Day and left inspired to create change at local and global levels.

In addition to Morris and Roldan, the 2017 WE Day Seattle slate includes Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll, quarterback Russell Wilson and wide receiver Doug Baldwin, actress Lily Collins, astronaut and statesman Buzz Aldrin and a bevy of additional public figures, professional athletes and social activists.
