USMNT: Clint Dempsey starting, Jordan Morris on the bench in Venezuela friendly

Dempsey USA

The United States takes on Venezuela tonight in a friendly at Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City in preparation for next week's huge pair of World Cup Qualifiers against Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico (7:00PM, FS1).

A goal away from tying Landon Donovan's US Men's National Team goal-scoring record of 58 goals, Clint Dempsey has earned a spot in Bruce Arena's starting XI which also includes Sounders Homegrown DeAndre Yedlin. Fellow Homegrown, Jordan Morris finds himself on the bench tonight for the US as they look to have a good showing against Venezuela before the crucial qualifiers.
