Roger Levesque Special Olympics Games

Join us for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle!

The countdown has begun!

In 93 days, the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games will begin in Seattle. Over 4,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities will come to the Emerald City from July 1 – July 6 to participate in a number of events. The Sounders are stoked to be involved, and we hope you are, too!

We‘re aiming to have over 1,000 “fans in the stands” throughout the week, cheering on the Special Olympics soccer athletes. This means, you just have to register, show up and cheer on the soccer athletes alongside Jordan Morris, Roger Levesque and others. No training session required. Be sure to register as a fan in the stands below.*

In addition, we’ve created a unique ticket offer to support this huge event. If you purchase tickets for the match against the Portland Timbers on June 30, you will receive a limited edition Special Olympics USA Games scarf. This offer can be accessed HERE

If you already have a ticket to the June 30th match, please consider purchasing through this offer to get your scarf and allow us to donate your ticket to a Special Olympics athlete.

Sounders FC reaffirms its commitment to celebrating inclusivity and diversity as the team serves as a professional sports partner of the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games

As part of this commitment, Sounders FC players Jordan Morris and Cristian Roldan, along with alumni Kasey Keller, Roger Levesque and Taylor Graham, have elected to serve as official 2018 USA Games ambassadors, using their platforms to help amplify the Special Olympics message of diversity, inclusion and unity while fundraising and serving as inspirations to athletes with intellectual disabilities.

*Note that the schedules of SFC representatives are subject to change. Please check the volunteer registration link closer to the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games for the most updated schedule. Sounders FC ambassadors will be on-site during the indicated timeframe for at least an hour.
