Sounders FC and official banking partner Washington Federal today announced the opening of a unique voting contest, giving fans the opportunity to own an original piece of artwork by goalkeeper Stefan Frei in the form of a Washington Federal debit card.
Frei, a talented and passionate artist off the pitch, has teamed up with Washington Federal to create two exclusive card-front designs. Fans can vote on their favorite design starting today, with the contest running through July 23. To vote, visit www.SoundersFC.com/WAFDdebit.
"It was such a unique and fun challenge to create these two designs for Washington Federal,” said Frei. “The colors are themed after our kits, but the designs stay true to my clean, linear style. I'm looking forward to seeing which card the fans will choose, go out there and vote!”
As an added incentive, 25 lucky fans will be selected to attend an exclusive card launch, which includes meeting Frei and receiving autographed prints of the winning artwork.
The winning design is being produced as a debit card and available to all Washington Federal customers in fall of 2018 as part of Washington Federal’s Green Checking Account.
