Seattle Sounders midfielder Cristian Roldan subbed on the 83rd minute on Friday in the United States’ 2-0 friendly loss to Brazil at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. He entered for Columbus Crew SC midfielder Wil Trapp to earn his fourth cap.


Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino opened the scoring in the 11th minute before PSG star Neymar doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 43rd.

Roldan and the U.S. will host Mexico on Tuesday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. (5:30 p.m. PT; ESPN, UniMás, Univision Deportes).
