Major League Soccer announced on Friday that the MLS 2018 Expansion Draft with incoming FC Cincinnati will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
More importantly for the Seattle Sounders is that they are one of five clubs exempt from selection after LAFC nabbed Seattle goalkeeper Tyler Miller in the 2017 MLS Expansion Draft. The Sounders are joined by Columbus Crew SC, the San Jose Earthquakes, Sporting Kansas City and Toronto FC.
