The Seattle Sounders have learned their first MLS opponent of 2019: FC Cincinnati. The expansion side is set to play its inaugural match at CenturyLink Field on Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m. PT.
The complete regular season slate, including match dates, times, locations and national television schedule, will be announced in January.
The Sounders are 5-5-0 all-time in MLS regular season openers, with nine of the 10 matches at CenturyLink Field. FC Cincinnati also marks the ninth meeting between the Sounders and an initial contest with an expansion club. The Rave Green are 3-3-2 all-time in these matches, including last year's season-opening loss to LAFC.
