Seattle Sounders FC is expanding its partnership with CHI Franciscan – already the team’s Official Partner in Health since 2016 – to make the healthcare provider the official training jersey partner of the Rave Green through 2020. The partnership furthers the Northwest Healthy lifestyle principles rooted in both organizations.
“We’re happy to welcome CHI Franciscan as our official training jersey partner,” said Sounders FC Owner Adrian Hanauer. “Sounders FC and CHI Franciscan both share Washington roots and community-minded principles and have worked well together over the past few years. We’re looking forward to further developing our relationship with these additional training ground elements.”
Through its Northwest Healthy campaign, CHI Franciscan is helping to build healthy communities by increasing awareness of important health issues, including promoting age-appropriate cancer screenings, identifying stroke symptoms early and providing suggestions to improve heart health. The training jersey partnership furthers awareness of CHI Franciscan and its programs that promote the importance of health and wellness throughout the region, encouraging Sounders FC fans to cultivate healthy lifestyle practices – just like their favorite players.

This season, fans and spectators will see the partnership represented on the Sounders FC First Team, USL and Academy training tops, as all the club’s athletes hone their skills on the training ground. The new CHI Franciscan partnership is also being symbolized in the signage and media backdrop at Starfire Sports, the club’s training facility in Tukwila. These elements will debut tomorrow, Thursday, March 28, at Sounders FC’s training session.
Additionally, CHI Franciscan is set to return in 2019 as the presenting partner of the Rave Green Run, Sounders FC and RAVE Foundation’s annual 5K run and walk. The popular event provides runners and walkers with an authentic Sounders FC experience through the trails at the Starfire Sports campus. The funds raised benefit RAVE’s mission of building small fields for free play and investing in programs that use soccer as a vehicle to inspire youth and strengthen communities.
