Seattle Sounders FC today announced an exciting new collaboration with partner Elysian Brewing, as the brewery adds a Sounders FC-inspired beer to its diverse portfolio. Dominance, named after the Rave Green’s resilient nature, will make its on tap debut at CenturyLink Field and Elysian locations on Sunday, July 14, prior to hitting store shelves in 2020. The hoppy American Pale Ale features Ekuanot, Vic Secret and Chinook hops with aromas of passionfruit, guava, grape and peach.
Elysian’s in-house graphic designers collaborated with Sounders FC players to learn more about the players’ own favorite moments and memories, inspiring four different designs. Beginning Saturday, June 29 and running through Saturday, July 13, fans can visit SoundersFC.com/Elysian to vote for their favorite design. The winning design will then become the official Dominance design. The winning design will be announced alongside the beer’s on tap release on Sunday, July 14.
“It’s refreshing to collaborate on the creative process alongside the Sounders FC and players,” said Andrea Boyle, Brand Manager at Elysian Brewing. “Now it’s up to the fans to choose what the final design will be. Make sure you cast your vote before July 13th. Go Sounders!”
Fans can get an early taste of Dominance and vote for a design in person at the club’s home match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, June 29. The beer will be available in the North Plaza starting at 6:00 p.m. PT for ticketed fans over the age of 21, alongside a special Summer Music Stage presented by Zulily featuring a free performance by Seattle-based pop-punk band Tacocat.
Elysian and Sounders FC will also be hosting a Dominance release party at Elysian Fields on Monday, July 29, which will feature appearances by select Sounders FC players. Further details will be released at a later date.
