Sounders FC Classics: Seattle Sounders take on Toronto FC in the 2019 MLS Cup at CenturyLink Field

In the first re-air of the new Sounders FC Classics series, we have the 2019 MLS Cup final at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT; JOEtv, and the Sounders FC App). Additionally, you can follow along with the match on a Twitter live stream, hosted by club legend and broadcaster Steve Zakuani, on the club’s official Twitter account.

Here is the Delta Air Lines Starting XI for the most iconic day in Sounders FC history.

You know the story by now.

After a cagey first half, Sounders FC right back Kelvin Leerdam broke the deadlock with a double-deflected shot that arrowed into the bottom corner. Substitute Víctor Rodríguez came off the bench and doubled Seattle’s advantage with a picture-perfect goal that curled inside the far post. Toronto pulled one back late, but striker Raúl Ruidíaz iced the match with a late, late goal as the Sounders ran out 3-1 winners for their second MLS Cup trophy.
