SEATTLE, WASH. – After a 3-0 win on July 18 at Cheney Stadium, Tacoma Defiance (1-2-1, 4 points) travels to Portland for a rematch with Timbers 2 (0-3-0, 0 points) on Monday evening at Providence Park. Alec DÃaz, Danny Robles and Chino Pérez all scored in the 3-0 win on July 18, with DÃaz being named to USL Team of the Week for week three and Robles included on the bench.
Additionally, Sounders FC has loaned forward Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez to Defiance for the remainder of the 2020 USL season. The 18-year-old signed as a Homegrown Player on May 1, 2019 and made three MLS appearances and one start last season.
