Barge-Lincoln Elementary is home to two of the 52 RAVE Foundation mini pitches built across Washington state, creating safe and accessible spaces where kids and communities can play, connect and thrive through soccer. Located in Yakima, the school reflects the foundation’s commitment to creating opportunities that extend far beyond the game itself.

That vision comes to life through Principal Tori Brennan. The kind of educator who sees what her students can become long before they can see it themselves, Tori championed bringing RAVE mini pitches to Barge-Lincoln Elementary — and then kept going. Through a partnership she helped forge with the University of Washington, fifth graders don't just play soccer; they visit UW's campus and attend a Sounders match, making a university and a professional stadium feel like places that belong to them. For Tori, the field is just the beginning.
