Highlands Park is home to one of the 52 RAVE Foundation mini pitches built across Washington state, creating safe and accessible spaces where kids and communities can play, connect and thrive through soccer. Located in Renton, the pitch reflects RAVE’s commitment to creating places where young people can grow in confidence, build community and discover what is possible through the power of play.
That mission is embodied by Shoshanna Cohen. A beloved teacher, advocate and relentless champion for her students, Shoshanna sees possibility long before children see it in themselves. Pictured at Renton's Highlands Park Mini Pitch, she brings the same passion for belonging and opportunity to her students at White Center Heights Elementary, creating a culture where every child feels valued, supported and capable of more. A tireless believer in movement as medicine and the power of after-school programs, she refuses to accept barriers as permanent. For the children she serves, Shoshanna is more than an educator — she is a daily reminder that someone is always fighting for their future.
