Sierra Heights Elementary is home to two of the 52 RAVE Foundation mini pitches built across Washington state, creating safe and accessible spaces where kids and communities can play, connect and thrive through soccer. Located in Renton, the pitch reflects RAVE’s commitment to investing in students and creating environments where every child feels seen, supported and empowered through the game.
That vision is shared by Dr. Damien Pattenaude. As Superintendent of the Renton School District, he is one of the region’s strongest advocates for what students truly need to thrive. Dr. Pattenaude views partnerships like RAVE’s as more than an investment in fields — they are a signal to every student that they matter. A passionate champion for the connection between physical health, mental wellness and community belonging, he remains an unwavering advocate for the students of Renton.
