In addition to our fourth-ever General Manager Vote, this year’s Sounders Ballot includes the chance to vote on the 2026 Eternal Sounders Circle of Legends nominees.
WHAT: The 2026 Sounders Ballot is the right for Alliance Members to vote on the retention of Sounders FC General Manager & Chief Soccer Officer Craig Waibel and the 2026 Eternal Sounders Circle of Legends nominees.
WHO: Primary accountholders of 2026 Season Memberships and Flex Memberships.
WHEN: Voting begins on October 12 and ends November 7.
WHERE: Alliance Members can vote at SoundersFC.com/Ballot.
WHY: Drew Carey is the visionary of the General Manager Vote and the Democracy In Sports model. He wanted a structure where fans have a direct say in the direction of their club, which is unprecedented in professional sports.
HOW: 40% of eligible Alliance Members must vote for the ballot to be valid. Action in the General Manager Vote can only be taken by the super-majority of no less than 67%. The GM Vote is weighted, meaning Alliance Members have as many votes as they have seats on their account.

The Eternal Sounders Circle of Legends is the highest honor a Sounders alumnus can receive, recognizing the players, coaches and builders whose contributions have left a lasting mark on the club and its history.
Each year, fans, alumni, media and Sounders FC staff come together to help determine who will join this distinguished group. The nominees will be considered for induction into the Eternal Sounders Circle of Legends in 2027.
