Darrin Miller
Director of Ticket Operations
Darrin Miller begins his ninth season with the club in 2023, serving as the Director of Ticket Operations. This position entails management of ticket printing, scanning, payment processing, and distribution while directly supporting ticket sales and service initiatives. He also oversees the Sounders FC box office on match days and is responsible for directing staff in walk-up ticket sales, will call, and service.Â
Raised in Anacortes, Washington, Miller attended Gonzaga University in Spokane and got his start in sports working with the Spokane Chiefs before running the box office for the Spokane Indians. Moving back west of the Cascades, he then managed the ticket department for the Tacoma Rainiers for three seasons before taking over the same role for the NBA’s SuperSonics for their last five seasons in Seattle, while also handling the WNBA’s Seattle Storm during his tenure. In the six years prior to joining the Sounders, he was the Box Office Manager for ShoWare Center in Kent, handling concerts, family shows and the Seattle Thunderbirds’ ticketing needs. He and his wife Melissa are raising a son, Justin, and a daughter, Aubrey, and reside in Des Moines.
