Director of Operations
Mikaela Purvis enters her eighth season with the organization in 2020, and first season serving as Director of Operations. In her new role, Purvis will work with CenturyLink Field to manage stadium operations, run special events such Concacaf and US Open Cup, oversee ticket operations, and work closely with supporter groups and Alliance Council. Prior to taking on these new responsibilities, Purvis served as Director of Membership Engagement & Retention for Sounders FC, where she oversaw the team responsible for Season Member retention, engagement, communication and customer service, as well as managing the MatchPass Loyalty program and its associated programming, content management and data strategy, and working closely with supporter groups and Alliance Council.
Before joining Sounders FC, Purvis worked for University of Washington Athletics in their Tyee Department, which allows dedicated Huskies fans to show pride and support through financial gifts. Purvis holds a bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science with a minor in psychology from Seattle University and a Master of Education in Intercollegiate Athletics Leadership from University of Washington. Purvis lives in Brier with her husband, Joe, their son, Declan, and dog, Winston.
