In a powerful partnership with Boeing, the Seattle Sounders have launched the Change Champions initiative—an effort to spotlight local organizations making a meaningful impact in our community. At the September 27th match against the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Sounders recognized the Renton Schools Foundation for its unwavering commitment to educational equity and opportunity.
“As I reflect on our humble beginnings and the incredible journey we've taken, I can't help but smile at the profound impact our dedicated team has had on countless students,” shares Chairperson Pam Teal. “We certainly don’t do this work alone—it truly takes a village, and we are deeply grateful for the support we have received along the way.”

STEM & Creativity in Action
From hands-on robotics to peer-led coding clubs, Renton students are diving into the world of technology and engineering. Meanwhile, music and theater programs offer vibrant outlets for self-expression and build confidence through performance and teamwork.
Music & Arts
Renton Schools are making it easier for students to get involved in music by giving them a variety of instruments to choose from and providing sheet music to build their music libraries. As a result, students are more engaged than ever in these music programs. Additionally, every middle school and high school has theater and drama programs, allowing students to develop their confidence as performers. It's inspiring to see their growth and enthusiasm in the arts!

How can you help?
In the fall, we kick off the year with a fundraising campaign to support teacher grants, and in the spring, we hold our largest fundraising event, an annual luncheon.
As a 501c3, Renton School Foundation provides opportunities for individuals, large/small businesses, a tax incentive to donate directly to local schools or specific programs they find important to the development of our students.
