The Seattle Sounders are adding another attacker to its already lethal offensive unit.
Free agent forward Danny Musovski is welcomed to the Rave Green roster, as announced on Thursday, Feb. 1, with a contract through the 2025 season and an option for 2026.
“Growing up a MLS fan, I've always seen the Sounders as one of, if not the most consistent team in the league since they've joined, so they have a great reputation,” said Musovski. “And so I know what comes with that and I'm going to come in and hopefully keep that standard as high as it's been.”
He’s a vet in the professional game, originally drafted in 2018 by the San Jose Earthquakes with shared stints in Real Salt Lake, LAFC and USL teams Reno 1868 and the Las Vegas Lights over the course of six seasons.
After netting nine goals across all competitions in 2023 with the Claret and Cobalt and totaling 47 goals throughout his tenure in the USL and MLS, the 28-year-old attacker is eager for a new challenge.
“It's been a bit of a crazy journey from USL to now being in MLS and so I'm looking forward to my seventh year here in Seattle, and I'm hoping it's going to be my best one,” said Musovski.

The Henderson, Nevada native will be a vital asset for the Seattle squad, not only increasing the team’s roster depth, but also surging their scoring chances with his knack for goal.
“I feel like I'm a goal poacher,” said Musovski. “I'm also somebody that will work hard defensively and do what the team needs to win games but, I definitely feel like I'm good for a lot of goals this season if I'm given the minutes.”
While his hope is to serve an impactful role for the Sounders, he recognizes the first step is understanding the dynamics within his new team.
“When you come into a new group it's about just getting to know everybody, getting to know the personalities of everyone and hopefully fitting in well,” said Musovski.
It is a difficult professional path to jump from one team to the next without having a consistent home base, but with the support from the other players on the team, Musovski’s transition is bound to be a seamless one.
“Being here a few days, I think it's been going great, as good as I could have pictured it,” said Musovski. “The group has been really good to me and has been helping me feel comfortable and I think that's the most important thing…Getting to know the guys and getting to know the team and then soccer and everything else will come with it.”
