MORRIS CONNECTION: On the sidelines for New England is Assistant Coach Michael Morris, who is in his first season with the Revs after spending 16 years in the Sounders development system as a coach, scout and program coordinator. The former Sounders USL player also previously led the United States U-20s as an assistant and the U.S. U-21s as head coach.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Carles Gil, M
Gil is having another masterful season in MLS, boasting nine assists and a career-high 12 goals. He also entered the top 10 in all-time MLS assists this season with 96 in his eight seasons in New England.
