- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes two changes to the lineup from Sounders FC's 1-0 win over Real Salt Lake, with Nouhou and Albert Rusnák replacing Jon Bell and Paul Rothrock.
- Jordan Morris recorded his 38th assist in all competitions on Saturday against Real Salt Lake since joining the club in 2016, moving into sole possession of fourth place in club history.
- The Rave Green and NYCFC haven't met in MLS play since 2019, a 3-0 home victory for New York. Sounders FC holds a 2-3-0 record against NYCFC in regular-season play.
- Following Saturday's match, Seattle begins its Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs run, with dates, times and opponent for its Round One matchup to be determined upon the conclusion of Saturday's results league-wide.
