The Seattle Sounders have climbed slightly in the media’s Week 8 MLS Power Rankings after a convincing 3-0 road win over the LA Galaxy last Sunday.
The Sounders are No. 7 on MLSSoccer.com (No. 9 last week), No. 8 on ESPN.com (No. 9) and No. 11 on SI.com (No. 12).
“The Fearsome Foursome were in full effect in SoCal on Sunday,” said MLSSoccer.com. “This looks like Seattle’s best attacking lineup and once they get healthy on defense…look out, MLS.”
The Sounders host the New England Revolution this Saturday night at CenturyLink Field (7 p.m. PT; Q13 FOX, Univision, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360AM | TICKETS).
