PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2022 (Seattle): Teves signed with Seattle following a stellar career at the University of Washington. Teves appeared in six matches for Sounders FC in 2022, making his debut against Vancouver (June 14) and scored his first career goal in a 2-0 road win at Toronto FC (July 2). Teves also logged 50 minutes in Seattle’s 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against the San Jose Earthquakes (May 11), in addition to starting 14 of 15 appearances for Tacoma Defiance, scoring four goals.

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Teves had a four-year career at the University of Washington, becoming one of the top players in the country. During his senior year at UW, Teves was a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, a College Soccer News First Team All-American, an All-Pac-12 First Team selection and the Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year. He also was named a First Team All-American, All-Region First Team and All-Pac-12 First Team as a junior, finishing as semifinalist for the MAC Herman Trophy. He totaled 25 goals and 23 assists in 69 career games played as a Husky, amassing 1,757 minutes.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Joined the Sounders Academy in 2015 on the U-15 team. He also played for the U-16 squad before making 24 appearances for the U-19 squad, scoring five goals in his final year in the academy. The midfielder also made 12 appearances for Tacoma Defiance (then Sounders FC 2) while playing for the academy. Teves attended Liberty High School in Renton, Washington.
