Social Timeline: Sounders keep rolling with late win over New York Red Bulls

May was a very good month for your Seattle Sounders Football Club. Finishing the month with a 4-1-1 record, the Rave Green topped it off with an come-from-behind extra-time victory against the New York Red Bulls at CenturyLink Field.

A real feel-good moment, you guys.

With Chad Barrett's (or Clint Dempsey's, whichever you prefer) goal at the death, the Sounders picked up their sixth win in eight matches and stayed atop the MLS Supporters' Shield standings. Life is good.

Sunday was a lovely day across the board, as the sun was shining and the points were flowing so let us go back and see how it all came to pass in today's Social Timeline

The day had come. Sunday matches are fun. Sunday afternoon matches are even funner!

Mr. Neagle, hard at work.

Get it?! The emoji is a house……..

That’s a lot of trophies you’ve got there, Seattle Sounders FC.

Legend. Absolute legend.

The lineup! That’s cool.

Full disclosure: I picked the cover image of this video. I am smart.

The noise, it was broughten.

I do love a good high five. It’s my fave.

The best ever.

Ok, this is probably the best ever. Look at those headphones!

Soccer time had begun.

NY scored a flukey goal and the Sounders trailed at the half.

But this was cool!

This save cannot be understated. MASSIVE impact on the match.

Papppppppppaaaaa. What a strike! Then twenty minutes later…

And that would do it…

HUGE three points for the Sounders there. Great effort.

Here’s the goal for all y’all. And now some reaction from the team:

What a feeling! #SEAvNY
