Sounders defender Román Torres was all smiles on Sunday evening at Los Premios Univisión Deportes, the annual sports award gala held in Miami.
Panama's beloved star accepted the award for "Hazaña Deportiva del Año", sports feat of the year, as the country earned its first qualification to the FIFA World Cup. In October, it was Torres who knocked home the decisive goal for Los Canaleros to secure a spot in Russia next summer.
Torres also took to Twitter to show his appreciation for the award.
