Tacoma Defiance falls 3-1 on the road to Portland Timbers 2

PORTLAND, ORE. – Tacoma Defiance (2-9-2, 8 points) fell 3-1 Thursday evening to Portland Timbers 2 (3-11-0, 9 points) at Providence Park. Danny Robles scored the lone goal for Defiance in the fourth matchup of the season between the two rivals, who meet for a fifth time this Sunday, September 27 at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma (1:30 p.m. PT / ESPN+). Sunday marks the first match home match for Tacoma Defiance since July 18.
