EVENT OVERVIEW

What is Seattle Soccer Celebration? 

Seattle Soccer Celebration is Seattle's official waterfront fan destination during FIFA World Cup 2026™, featuring live match watch parties, community programming, sponsor activations, food and beverage offerings, entertainment, and private events. 

From June 11–July 6, fans can experience live match broadcasts on massive waterfront LED screens on Pier 62 and the barge, as well as interactive soccer experiences, and a daily lineup of programming and entertainment.  

Where is Seattle Soccer Celebration located? 

Seattle Soccer Celebration is located on Seattle's central waterfront, utilizing Pier 62 and a custom event barge moored at the pier. 

When is Seattle Soccer Celebration open? 

Seattle Soccer Celebration will operate at Pier 62 and the adjacent barge from June 11-July 6. Operating dates and hours vary by event type, match schedule, and private event bookings.  

Pier 62 is expected to host to ten days of free live match watch parties, community programming, sponsor activations, food and beverage offerings, and entertainment. Currently, those days are: June 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, July 1, and July 6.  

The adjacent barge will host a mix of public and private events every day from June 11-July 6.

TICKETS & REGISTRATION 

Do I need a ticket to enter? 

Yes, while some events are free to the public, a ticket is required for entry to both Pier 62 (on the ten days of live match watch parties), and the barge. Tickets are available at https://buytickets.at/seattlesoccercelebration.  

Watch parties at Pier 62 are free and open to the public with registration. Entry is on a first-come, first-served based. See below for more information about pier programming. 

The adjacent barge will host a mix of paid ticketed live match watch parties, private events, and community programming. See below for more information about barge programming.  

Barge tickets include reserved admission to the event. 

Why do I need to register if pier admission is first-come, first-served? 

Registration helps us plan staffing, security, and event operations, and allows us to communicate important event information. Due to capacity limits on Pier 62, registration does not guarantee admission. 

Can I purchase tickets onsite? 

While tickets may be purchased the same day as an event, they are only available online through our official Seattle Soccer Celebration box office: https://buytickets.at/seattlesoccercelebration   

Are tickets refundable? 

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. All sales are final.  

Are tickets transferable? 

Yes, tickets can be transferred to friends and family by sharing your confirmation email and QR code. Fans receiving tickets must bring an ID and will be required to acknowledge the ticket policies and Fan Code of Conduct on site.  

Can groups attend together? 

Group ticketing options are available for select events on the barge. Please email SScelebration@soundersfc.com for information on groups of 10+.  

Can companies rent portions of the venue? 

Private and shared opportunities may be available. Please fill out this form and a member of our team will follow up with you. 

What is the difference between the GA and VIP tickets on the barge?  

Both tickets guarantee access to watch 2026 FIFA World CupTM matches on a massive 18' x 30' LED wall, set against the iconic backdrop of Puget Sound with the Olympic Mountains rising just beyond. 

In addition, VIP tickets come with all-inclusive food & beverages, including beer, wine, and sodas. Plus, beat the crowds with a dedicated entry lane on the pier. Access to VIP bathrooms on the barge.  

GA ticketholders will have ability to purchase stadium concession fare on the barge. 

What if I want tickets for a game not available on your website?  

We will not be showing every match. Our online box office has the most accurate and up-to-date list of watch parties on both the barge and pier. 

ACCESSIBILITY 

Is the venue ADA accessible? 

Seattle Soccer Celebration is committed to providing accessible experiences for all guests.  

The pier will have accessible seating, and some events will provide closed captioning.  

The barge has a designated ADA viewing area that allows guests to see the screen and will have dedicated food & beverage service for both VIP and GA ADA ticket types. VIP ADA ticketholders will enjoy all-inclusive food & beverages. 

Are accessible restrooms available? 

Yes, accessible restrooms are available on the pier and barge.  

Can guests bring service animals? 

Service animals trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities are welcome. 

BAGS & SECURITY 

We highly encourage fans to leave personal bags at home, as bag size guidelines will be strictly enforced.  

DETAILED PROTOCOLS 

Bag Size Limits: 

  • The maximum size that a bag can be is 14" x 6" x 14". This includes ALL bags, purses, totes, fanny packs, diaper bags and medical bags.
  • Bags do not need to be CLEAR. Bags that are clear must also adhere to the size requirements.
  • Larger bags are prohibited and there is not an official Bag Check. 

Prohibited Bags: 

  • Backpacks are NOT permitted (except single-compartment drawstring bags and single-compartment fashion “backpack-style” purses.)
  • Bags larger than the 14" x 6" x 14" size limit are prohibited. 

Allowed Bags: 

  • Purses (including fashion backpack purses) and diaper bags, provided they meet the 14" x 6" x 14" size limit.
  • Drawstring bags that have one open compartment
  • Fashion-style bags with one open compartment 

Bag Screening: 

  • All bags will be screened at the entrance. 

PROHIBITED ITEMS 

By attending Seattle Soccer Celebration, guests agree to abide by the Event Code of Conduct and Terms & Conditions.  

Permitted Items 

  • Reusable water bottles (non-glass and non-metal) or sealed purchased water bottles are permitted. Bottles must be no larger than 32oz. and must empty upon entry.
  • Bags smaller than 14" x 6" x 14". This includes ALL bags, purses, totes, fanny packs, diaper bags and medical bags. Bags do not have to be clear. 
  • Outside food in a clear plastic bag.

The following are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated: 

Prohibited Items

  • Outside beverages of any kind (exceptions may apply for guests with medical needs)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Banners, signs, flags, streamers, stickers, confetti, or projectile items of any kind
  • Noisemakers, air horns, or amplified sound devices
  • Smoking, vaping, or marijuana use, illegal substances, or outside alcohol. 

What happens if a prohibited item is discovered? 

Guests may be required to dispose of prohibited items or return them to their vehicle. 

TRANSPORATION & PARKING 

Is parking available? 

Guests are encouraged to utilize public transportation and nearby parking facilities. Parking and public transportation information: https://waterfrontparkseattle.org/world-cup/  

Is public transit available? 

The waterfront is accessible via multiple transit options, including Waterfront and Matchday Shuttle. 

The shuttle, operated by King County Metro and sponsored by SeattleFWC26, is free to riders and will run every 15 minutes, 7 days a week from 10 a.m – 10 p.m. On match days, shuttles will run every 10 minutes. 

Shuttle stops include Seattle Center, Olympic Sculpture Park, Overlook Walk, Seattle Ferry Terminal, Pioneer Square, and Chinatown-International District.

BARGE FAQs 

Arrival & Entry 

Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled event start time.  

A dedicated entrance for Edward Jones VIP Terrace ticketholders is located on the north side of the pier, closest to the barge. Look for signs directing to the Edward Jones VIP Terrace.  

GA and ADA ticketholders should enter through the center pier under the entry arch. 

Guests should have their mobile ticket and government-issued identification (if applicable). 

Re-Entry 

Re-entry is allowed with wristband and original ticket.  

Food & Beverage 

GA ticketholders will be able to purchase stadium classics, including hot dogs and nachos, as well as packages snacks and ice cream. Beer, wine, soda, and water is also available.  

VIP tickets come with all-inclusive food & beverage, including beer, wine, and soda.  

Seattle Soccer Celebration is a cashless event. Credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments are accepted. 

Outside food in a clear plastic bag is permitted. Outside beverages, besides approved water bottles, are prohibited. Food and beverage purchased on the pier is permitted.

Are there restrooms on the barge? 

GA ticketholders on the Barge will exit via the VIP gangway for restroom access on the pier and re-enter through the same gangway.  

VIP ticketholders on the Barge will have access to a dedicated restroom on the barge.  

ADA ticketholders can exit via the main barge gangway and use the ADA restrooms on the pier or ADA restrooms on the barge, if stairs are able to be navigated. 

PIER 62 

Arrival & Entry 

Capacity on Pier 62 is limited, and entry is first-come, first-served. Your reservation does not guarantee access to the event; admission is subject to available capacity.  

We strongly encourage guests to arrive early, especially on days that feature high-demand matches. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the Pier opens to allow time for security screening and ticket scanning. Fans may begin queuing up to one hour before the Pier opens. 

Queueing for Pier 62 will direct south toward the aquarium. Guests should have their mobile ticket and government-issued identification (if applicable).

Re-entry is not guaranteed and will be subject to available capacity at the time of your return. Guests leaving the pier must show wristband and valid ticket to re-enter, and must stand at the back of the queue. Line cutting will be not be permitted for re-entry. 

Guests are welcome to stay for the duration of the event. If you leave the Pier, re-entry is not guaranteed and will be subject to available capacity at the time of your return. 

Food & Beverage 

Food trucks, grab-and-go concessions, beer, wine, soda, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. 

Outside food in a clear plastic bag is permitted. Outside beverages, besides approved water bottles, are prohibited.

WEATHER 

Seattle Soccer Celebration is an outdoor event. 

Please dress appropriately for weather conditions. Event operations may be adjusted due to weather, safety, or operational considerations. 

Blankets are allowed and subject to security screening.  

Will events be canceled due to rain? 

Seattle Soccer Celebration is a rain-or-shine event. Event operations may be adjusted due to severe weather, safety concerns, or other operational considerations.
