Sounders FC + RAVE Foundation Sports Media Institute

Seattle Sounders FC, together with its charitable arm, RAVE Foundation, is implementing the second Sounders FC & RAVE Foundation Sports Media Institute in July of 2018. This program is set to provide a unique opportunity for rising seventh, eighth and ninth grade students in the Puget Sound region, as it focuses on using Sounders FC soccer as a vehicle for empowerment and early career exploration.

This program offers a unique opportunity to students in Bellevue, Highline, Lake Washington, Seattle and Tukwila Public Schools. The Sounders Sports Media Institute provides a select number of students the opportunity to learn and explore professional skills in the context of Sports Media and Major League Soccer. Participants learn and practice in writing, editing, broadcast, social media and public relations, as well as gain valuable firsthand experience in the fast-paced field of sports media with the expertise of Sounders FC.
