38th minute: João Paulo scored a technical masterpiece of volley to put the Sounders up 1-0 toward the end of the first half. A mis-cleared header for Minnesota landed in the feet of the Brazilian midfielder, and he popped the ball up to himself with his first touch before quickly unleashing a venomous side volley that rocked into the top corner. After a scoreless first half, João Paulo's golazo opened the floodgates for Seattle, as the team went on to win 4-0.

Gustav Svensson (December 7, 2020)

90th minute + 3rd minute of stoppage time: Just one minute after Raúl Ruidíaz scored an 89th minute goal to tie up the match, the impossible happened when former Sounder Gustav Svensson redirected a Lodeiro corner kick toward the back of the net, securing a 3-2 victory over the Loons and a Western Conference Championship title.
