The Seattle Sounders are hosting CF Montréal on Saturday in their first and only meeting of the regular season. Here is everything you need to know:

WHEN AND WHERE: Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. PT at Lumen Field (TICKETS).

WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be available to stream on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

WHERE TO LISTEN: The match will air on 950 KJR AM, SiriusXM FC, and El Rey 1360AM.

2024 RECORDS AND STANDINGS: Sounders: 0-3-2 (2 points, 14th West), Montréal: 2-2-1 (7 points, 10th East)

FORM GUIDE (most recent first): Seattle: LLDDL, Montréal: LLWWD

PREVIOUS MEETING: Montréal defeated the Sounders 2-1 in Seattle on June 29, 2022. Jordan Morris opened the scoring in the third minute, but a Mason Toye brace secured three points for the visitors.

RUSNÁK RETURNS TO XI: Albert Rusnák made his return to the starting lineup last weekend, a welcome boost to a Sounders side plagued by injuries to start the season. The Slovakian international is poised for a big year with full control at the No. 10.

SHUFFLED LINEUP: Head Coach Brian Schmetzer returned to his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation against the LA Galaxy last week, but he threw in a different wrinkle. Cristian Roldan started in central midfield, a position where he began his career but has rarely played in the last few seasons, while Alex Roldan was pushed up a line to his older brother’s previous spot at right wing.

ROAD ODYSSEY CONCLUDES: Montréal on Saturday will play the last of its six consecutive road matches to start the 2024 campaign. The club has fared well away from home, grabbing seven points from a possible 15 so far.

NEW MAN IN CHARGE: Montréal is on its third manager in as many years after the departures of Wilfried Nancy and Hernán Losada in 2022 and 2023, respectively. At the helm now is 45-year-old Frenchman Laurent Courtois, who operates a similar system as Nancy after being the head coach of Columbus Crew II last year while Nancy was managing the First Team.

ATTACKING PROWESS: Courtois has some strong new attacking talent to build around with the additions of MLS legend Josef Martínez and Uruguayan No. 9 Matías Cóccaro, the latter of whom has three goals and an assist through his first five MLS matches.
