The Sounders FC picked up its first win on the road on Saturday night thanks to a spectacular team performance. Two players stood out enough to be named to this week's MLS Team of the Week while a third was named to the team's bench.
Lamar Neagle opened his 2015 account with two goals on the road, including one that's up for AT&T Goal of the Week. Goalkeeper Stefan Frei came up big with eight saves against a Rapids team that kept him busy all night.
Obafemi Martins was in fine form and earned a spot on this week's bench after shaking off two defenders and earning the team's third goal of the match and his very own Goal of the Week nomination.
