Sounders FC & Intentionalist: Giving back to local BIPOC-owned small businesses with jersey off the back

Sounders FC is guided by our social justice framework and committed to making our community stronger and more equitable. We fight racism by partnering with, listening to and amplifying the voices of experts. We support and amplify the stories of local BIPOC and minority-owned small businesses who have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

To kick off the 2021 season, Sounders FC is partnering with our friends at Intentionalist to identify 21 local BIPOC-owned small businesses, and pair them with a Sounders FC player. Each small business owner will receive that player’s match-worn jersey from the April 16^th season opener. These businesses are encouraged to use the jerseys however they see fit, to best support their individual businesses
